1. Job Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities for Sales Executive (Male/Female):

You start the day by cleaning your counter, checking the trays and matching the jewellery pieces with the stock list. When customers come in, you greet them, ask about the occasion (wedding, gift or daily wear) and show suitable designs. You explain weight, purity, making charges and hallmark details in simple words, and help with the billing process.

In the evening, you recount the stock, return pieces to the locker and note down the day's sales. Meeting your monthly sales target is a regular part of this job.

Job Responsibilities for Junior Sales Executive (Male/Female):

This is a support role at the counter. You bring jewellery trays for senior staff, keep the display neat and help customers try pieces. You also learn billing, weighing and how to handle old-gold exchange questions. Senior staff guide you, but you are expected to talk to customers on your own as you gain confidence.

Job Responsibilities for Sales Executive Trainee (Male):

A trainee spends the first weeks watching and learning. You study product types such as gold, diamond and silver, practise showing pieces, and help with display and stock counting. After training, you start handling customers under a senior's supervision.

Job Responsibilities for Floor Hostess Trainee (Female):

You stay on the showroom floor and welcome people at the entrance. You guide them to the right counter, offer a seat or water, and pass them to a sales executive. You also keep the waiting area tidy and tell staff when a customer has been waiting too long. Most of the day is spent standing and smiling.

Job Responsibilities for Sales Executive, Middle East (Male):

This job is in a Kalyan showroom outside India. The daily work is similar to a showroom sales job: handling customers, explaining gold and diamond products, billing and stock checks. You will also deal with customers from different countries, so you must be comfortable with English and basic Hindi or Arabic phrases. Check visa, travel and accommodation terms carefully before accepting.

Job Responsibilities for Field Executive (Male/Female):

Instead of sitting in the showroom, you go out to meet people. You may visit nearby areas, share offers, collect customer details, follow up on enquiries and bring people to the showroom. You update your visit list every day and report to your supervisor. Expect a lot of walking or travelling.

Job Responsibilities for Sales Coordinator Trainee (Female):

You work from the showroom office or phone desk. You call customers about offers, schedule showroom visits, answer incoming calls and keep records of enquiries. You also pass information between the sales team and the manager so that customers are not left waiting.

Job Responsibilities for Cook:

You prepare meals for showroom staff. This means planning the daily menu, buying or ordering groceries, cooking on time and keeping the kitchen clean. You also keep track of how much rice, oil, vegetables and gas are left, so the kitchen never runs short.

Job Responsibilities for Marketing Executive (Male/Female):

You help more people know about the showroom. This includes posting offers on social media, helping organise store events or local promotions, and tracking how many people responded. You may also coordinate with designers and printers for banners and flyers.

Job Responsibilities for Admin Executive (Female):

You manage the office side of the business. Your day includes keeping files and records, preparing reports in Excel, answering calls, coordinating with staff and handling basic paperwork. This role is listed for the Marathahalli location in Bengaluru.

Job Responsibilities for Hardware & Network Support Engineer (Male):

You keep showroom computers, internet and CCTV cameras working. When a billing system stops or a camera goes offline, you check cables, routers and settings, then fix the problem or report it. You travel between showrooms and note each complaint and its solution.

7. Selection Process

Online Method:

  1. Open the official Kalyan Jewellers careers page.
  2. Search by post name and city.
  3. Create your profile with a working mobile number and email.
  4. Upload your resume and fill in your education and experience correctly.
  5. Submit the form and keep your phone switched on for HR calls.

Offline Method (Store/Office Visit):

If the online form does not work, visit your nearest Kalyan showroom with a printed resume. Wear neat, simple clothes, politely ask for the manager or HR contact and hand over your resume with your documents. Visit in the first half of the day when the showroom is less crowded, and avoid festival days when staff are busy.

Telephonic Round:

HR may call to confirm your qualification, experience, city and joining readiness. Pick up from a quiet place, speak slowly and keep your resume in front of you. Tell the truth about your salary, notice period and availability.

HR / Manager Interview (Face-to-Face):

Here, they look at how you speak, how you stand and whether you are comfortable with customers. Sales roles may include a few jewellery basics, and some posts may have a short written test. Technical posts like Hardware may include practical questions on CCTV and networks.

Selection & Joining:

If you are selected, you receive an offer letter by email or in person. This usually takes a few days to a couple of weeks, but timing differs by city and role. Read the offer letter carefully, and note the salary, work timing and weekly off before you sign.

8. Job Location:

Openings are listed for major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune and Nagpur. The Admin Executive post is at Marathahalli, Bengaluru. The Sales Executive post for the Middle East is in showrooms outside India.  (Also Check : Tata Starbucks jobs in these same cities)

9. Fees and Charges

Applying and interviewing at Kalyan Jewellers costs nothing. The company states on its website that it never takes money for jobs. If someone asks you to pay, it is a scam.

Watch out for these tricks in jewellery job scams:

  • A caller asks for an "ID card" or "uniform" fee before your joining date.
  • You are told to pay a "counter security deposit" or "stock safety deposit" to get a showroom job.
  • You get a polished offer letter on WhatsApp from a free email address, along with a request for a "training kit" or "registration" fee.
  • A "medical test" or "police verification" payment is demanded to a personal UPI ID.
  • For Middle East jobs, agents ask for visa, ticket or "agent" money. Never pay an agent for a job abroad without confirming it with Kalyan Jewellers' official HR.

To check a call, hang up and look for the careers page yourself on the company website. Never share your OTP, bank details or Aadhaar number on a call.
